Quinn is a Research Associate working with both the ACELab and BLINC Lab on an interdisciplinary collaboration aimed at developing novel assessments for advanced prosthetic devices. This project, titled Gaze and Movement Assessment (GaMA), leverages modern motion capture and eye tracking technologies to assess human behaviour while completing upper limb tasks. Throughout her tenure on this project, Quinn has worked with other members of the team to establish protocols, run experiments, and develop a custom software platform for the integrated analysis of combined motion and eye tracking data.

Quinn holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering with a Biomedical Option, as well as an MSc in Biomedical Engineering. She has been working with the ACELab since completing her BSc in 2015. For her MSc (2016 – 2019), Quinn leveraged her work on the GaMA project to explore eye gaze behaviour in upper-limb prosthesis users. Since finishing her MSc, Quinn has been very excited to continue contributing to this project as a Research Associate and using her skills to help improve the quality of technology available to upper limb prosthesis users.
